What's on in Blackpool This Week

As you plan your week, you’ll find a varied selection of things to do in Blackpool. Late October brings opportunities for relaxed evenings and energetic activities. If you enjoy live performance, expect a strong focus on music and comedy. Venues such as the Winter Gardens and the Grand Theatre will likely host established musicians, giving you a chance to see well-known artists. Several evenings are dedicated to stand-up, presenting chances to enjoy contemporary humour. Also consider checking listings for performances at smaller venues along the promenade. Beyond the stage, you can engage with local sports. A fixture is planned where you can witness competitive action, perhaps a football match or local rugby. This provides an alternative for those seeking an active or spectator-focused experience. Additionally, a unique competition event is scheduled, showcasing physical presentation and achievement, possibly at a local sporting facility. This diversity ensures there are options for leisure, whether you prefer a laugh, a melody, or a sporting contest. The Blackpool Tramway can help you reach events along the coastline. Think about how you might spend your evenings and afternoons. You can plan something that suits your interests, perhaps revisiting a favourite genre of entertainment or exploring something new. The offerings this week provide a balanced programme across different cultural and recreational fields, reflecting the town's provision for both residents and visitors. Be aware that parking can be limited, particularly near central attractions and during peak times around the Illuminations. The railway system provides an alternative, with Blackpool North and South stations serving the area. Browse the listings below for full details.
